About SKYE PETS – How We Reimagined Pet Travel Worldwide

SKYE PETS was founded in 2021 after we struggled to find a travel option to relocate our three Siberian Huskies internationally, without using the cargo hold.

When we realised no such option existed, we created one. What began as a personal solution quickly revealed a larger need, as many other families were searching for the same alternative.

There are many reasons some pets cannot travel in the cargo hold, including breed restrictions, age, health considerations, and anxiety. For these cases, an in-cabin option provides a practical, welfare-led alternative. We set out to build a calm, compliance-driven way to travel together.

Today, SKYE PETS is Australia’s only international in-cabin pet charter service, offering shared charter flights where pets travel side by side with their owners. Our expanding list of destinations includes Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Dubai, and soon, the United States.
